The VP9 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol by German gunmaker Heckler & Koch. The VP9 is far from being a brand-new pistol; as of 2024, this handgun will celebrate its 10th year on the market. Despite its age, it continues to be a worthwhile choice for anyone who needs a full-sized 9mm pistol.
Whether you want it for home defense, concealed carry, or target shooting, the VP9 does not disappoint. It received the Guns & Ammo Magazine Handgun of the Year 2014 award, its year of release, and has since remained in many outlets’ top 10 striker-fired pistol rankings.
If the VP9 is your choice for daily carry, you need a holster as uncompromising and reliable as your firearm. Incognito Concealment’s line of precision-crafted H&K VP9 holsters includes a complete product range for every application, from the range to deep-concealed carry.
The H&K VP9 is a striker-fired pistol designed for ergonomics and ease of use. Although it is categorized as a full-size pistol, the 4-inch barrel and low weight for its class give the VP9 relatively compact dimensions. The pistol straddles the line between a traditional full-size and a mid-size or compact, making it suitable for concealed and open carry.
Incognito Concealment produces a complete range of durable, lightweight holsters, ideal for any everyday carry scenario.
Gun owners who primarily carry concealed gravitate towards inside-the-waistband (IWB) carry methods. IWB carry offers the highest level of concealment, leaving only a belt clip visible when configured correctly.
Although the VP9 is larger than a typical compact or subcompact pistol, the right holster can make the difference when IWB concealed carrying. A dedicated concealment holster like the Incognito Concealment T3 uses thin Kydex sheeting to create a low-profile, easily hidden holster shell. It securely retains your favorite pistol with no unnecessary bulk, making it easy to carry and hide from view.
Because the VP9 is a full-sized pistol, IWB concealed carry may not always be practical, especially during summer. If you don’t find it comfortable or easy to keep your VP9 concealed in an IWB holster, consider a concealment outside-the-waistband (OWB) model like the Incognito Concealment Venture instead.
The Venture H&K VP9 holster uses the same low-profile Kydex sheeting as the T3 and is fully molded and contoured to fit your body’s natural curves. The result is a holster shell with a natural fit that can be easily concealed under an overshirt or jacket.
OWB holsters are typically more comfortable and ideal for full-sized and large handguns, but they are still traditional belt holsters. They need a properly sized gun belt and won’t come off easily without removing the belt.
If you want an H&K VP9 holster that combines the security and comfort of our Venture with a bit of extra convenience, consider the Incognito Concealment Paddle Holster. A paddle holster is an OWB holster that does not require a gun belt. It is fitted with a convenient, retractable plastic paddle with a mount designed to bite into your pants and use friction to anchor the holster.
Paddle holsters are highly adjustable. You can select any waistband position and readjust it on the fly to adapt to your current position (e.g., standing vs. seated). This maximizes convenience without sacrificing security.
High-performance pistols, such as those produced by Heckler & Koch, are designed to the firm’s motto: keine kompromisse, German for “no compromises.” The VP9 is manufactured to H&K’s tightest quality controls to deliver the best possible accuracy, reliability, and ergonomics.
Incognito Concealment is committed to offering gun owners dependable holsters. All our holsters are 100% handcrafted in the United States at our state-of-the-art facility.
All H&K VP9 holsters produced at Incognito Concealment are exclusively designed around the pistol’s dimensions. The result is a perfect fit, securing and retaining your pistol comfortably while letting you draw naturally and easily.
Any gun owner knows that choosing the right firearm for you is not just about specifications and performance; it is also about personal expression. Ergonomics and aesthetics matter, and the same is true of holsters.
At Incognito Concealment, our holsters aren’t only meant to be functional; they can also be customized in a range of colors and patterns. Personalize your VP9 holster with one of our 56 color and pattern options. If classic Tactical Black isn’t your style, we also have Desert Fox, Infantry Green, Hot Pink, Arctic Camo, Desert Digital, Graveyard Camo, Money Print, the patriotic Freedomflage, and many more.
Released in 2014, the H&K VP9 is now a mainstay of the Heckler & Koch catalog and one of its most popular models. It has since been produced in many variants, including the subcompact VP9SK, the button magazine release VP9B, the long-slide VP9L, and a .40-caliber variant, the VP40.
Below is a breakdown of the standard, full-sized VP9 9x19mm.
Incognito Concealment was founded with one mission in mind: to craft the best gun holsters, magazine carriers, and other accessories on the market with no compromises.

No. Although the two pistols have very similar external dimensions, the VP40’s slide is shaped differently to account for the .40 S&W cartridge’s heavier recoil, meaning it will not fit VP9 holsters. If you need a VP40 holster, Incognito Concealment produces a complete range of holster products specifically designed to fit the .40 pistol.
No. The H&K P30 is a different pistol and part of a separate product line with different slide and frame dimensions. You should only carry the H&K P30 in your P30 holster.
We recommend the Incognito Concealment T3 for deep-concealed IWB carry and the Incognito Concealment Venture for low-profile, concealment-friendly OWB carry.
